This five day course provides students with poise and confidence, and an introduction to important life skills. Parents are invited to join us for tea and see the final Show on Friday afternoon.

12.00 - Photography – how to frame your pictures and look good in front of the lens
1.00 - LUNCH – table manners & table setting
2.00 - Public Speaking – how to prepare a talk and deliver it with confidence and panache. Part 1 - preparation
3.00 - Interior Design – make the most of your own space
4.00 - TEA
4.30 - Self defence and Personal Safety – keeping safe & out of trouble
5.30 - BREAK

EVENING – Maximise Your Money

TUESDAY

9.30 - Deportment - learning to conduct yourself confidence and poise
10.00 - Nutrition – eating for health, energy and fitness
11.00 - BREAK
11.15 - Cookery – interesting and appetizing first courses
1.00 - LUNCH - conversation. How to talk to, and make the most of, people you meet at a lunch or dinner
2.00 - Fishing - casting
3.30 - Etiquette – how to behave in different situations
4.00 - TEA
4.30 - First Aid – making the casualty comfortable before calling the emergency services

10.30 - Making the Most of Colour & Style - creating a look to suit your image
11.30 - Thai Cooking – a chance to use a wok

2.00 - Surviving Family & Friends - this session will give you tips on just that!
3.00 - Public Speaking - rehearsal
4.00 - TEA
4.30 - Dance – Strictly Ballroom
5.30 - BREAK
6.30 - Wine Appreciation - advice on sensible drinking and choosing good, reasonably priced wines to go with different menus
